7 Days of Mindfulness in real estate, ahhhh doesn't that sound good?

Stay with me as we move along considering different perspectives on how to apply mindfulness in your everyday business transactions, interactions with others and personal time with yourself and your goals.

This workshop is designed for the beginners mind to mindfulness and for the novice it will be a moment to be still.

7 days we will take time everyday to practice being mindful and how we apply that to our moments of real estate.

Day 1

Day of Awareness



What's expected of You:

Items you will need in order for Mindfulness to make more of an impact for you over the next 7 Days.. 

  1. Please come to each day with a pen and paper

  2. Please visit the same space unless our meditation asks for you to be somewhere else. ( you will know the day before)

  3. Idealy make your time for mindfulness earlier in the moening than later...earliest as possible as we will ask you to spend the day engaging in some Mindfulness exercises in and around your office, customers and life...hint: we may ask you to visit properties or perhaps your own listing

  4. Stay hydrated - keep things flowing

  5. Keep an open mind

  6. Don't be afraid of the Silence

  7. Never Never judge yourself as doing anything wrong....be present and allow.

  8. Acknowledge that having a willingness to start Mindfulness in Real Estate has already made you a success.

  9. Mindfulness is a process over time and it can seem quite simplistic until you really need it

  10. Be Mindful not to wrestle others

Notice What You Hear


most agents who are drawn to mindfulness start out seeking relief from feeling a bit overwhelmed and off center. after a customer betrayal or losing a sale. perhaps its juggling all the emotional carry we do.  more times than not, lets admit it, real estate isn't easy. We felt that way too....That is why we embarked on this exciting Mindfulness in Real Estate adventure to impact as many agents as we possibly can before Zillow takes over...ha ha, Seriously, We know how you are feeling. We are seasoned agents and we are previous spa industry professionals with many many years of personal tug a warring. All that to say...We Hear ya. Day 2 is just that....what & who are you listening to? We Hope Only Yourself and ofcourse us for at least the next 20 days.   



 

Day 3

Deep Breath



Mindfulness in Breath. Your Body and Emotional Connection

One of the simplest paths to uncover deeper focus is by the awareness to your breath.  The Breath is the most essential part of Mindfulness. That which it compels us to know it more intimately. In our lives something is inevitablly going to require our focus and understanding that in any moment the breath brings us into the now.  Anxiety, chaos, our childeren, difficult negotiations & prayer all compel us to find our center. It is with our breath we find this space within.  For today we ask that you go about your day with a heightened awareness of your breath. Be concscious of where and when your breath can be used to rest in ay moment. While with a stressful person, during a difficult call to a listing agent with a low offer, or simply listening to your new buyer and sensing their needs and desires for their new home. Simply breathing can draw your buyers and sellers nearer to you.  leading them and giving them a sense of trust for you, louyalty is the outcome when you breathe calmly with your buyers and sellers they will follow your lead trusting that you will guide them torough the home buying and selling experiecnce with ease.

Silence


The Presence of Silence 

In Silence there is room. Room for things to happen. Silence gives you rest to allow yourself to recieve. Silence does say something. In real estate we are taught its a numbers game & although that may be true, however, in mindfulness in real estate we seek to balance that equation. That which flows must ebb in order to create a well defined center. In Mindfulness in real estate we want you to become a more centered agent. An agant who isn't easily swayed off in your negotiations. If you look around at the most highest end selling realtors there is a quiet about them. Luxury and elegance is quiet. It draws to it by its pure essence of calm, understanding that it is luxury without disspute of convincing necessary. We want that for you in your real estate career. In Silence you can learn to draw the space your in toward you. For some of us this may take a serious amount of practice. It will be worth it. All of our tools will get you there when practiced over time.

Day 5

Sense of Self


Self Presence

How Self Aware are you? Do you really know how you may be blocking your sales. Are you being like a porcupine or perhaps a cactus couch...yes a cactus couch. Have you been able to stir up business but not be able to make it stick? Have one or two of your buyers or sellers been stolen by your comeptition? yes, that feels exhausting and dissapointing. Just breathe.... We all experience challenges of personality and being recieving. Today we want you to accept responsibilty for your part. please admit to yourself if you have been over selling or perhaps over telling and convincing. Admit that sometimes at your open houses you pounce on who shows up. We understand, we have all been there trying to make things happen. And yes we need to take action and be prepared. however, we want you to find more rest in your efforts and a little faith. Ya know how when someone is trying to get pregnant for years and years with no success. They try literally everything. Then they just give up and decide to adopt. I dont know the statistics but i know a couple that within 3 months they got pregnant with their own child. and now they have two kids. We want you to realize that holding on too tight to an outcome can actully deter it from happening. Where can you soften and be a more noble reciever. Where can you find rest in your oen personal satisfction for the efforts you have made on behalf of your buyers and sellers.
